LG Evans has been awarded both the Penn Yan CSD Ph 1 and Ph 2 projects. The site package consists of site demo, earthwork, site concrete, paving, granite curbs and landscaping throughout all buildings – Elementary School, Middle School, Academy, Maintenance Building & Transportation Building. Also included is a turf field and track resurfacing at Academy as well as fuel pumps at the Transportation Facility. An interesting aspect to this project includes an 8,700 square foot subsurface storm storage facility. Since there is no room for a retention pond, the engineers designed an underground pipe system that acts as storage containment to handle site water.
